The election is over. The stock market is reacting positively. There are more jobs available. If you are in a job-search mode and you feel dead-ended, have you considered going to work for Uncle Sam? Government jobs are available and there are many ways to find these positions.

The Internet is the best means to view available openings. I checked out a few Web sites for content and value to job seekers. You will find these sites to be helpful and designed to link you with opportunities.

[QUICK TIP]
The October job growth rate added 337,000 net jobs. The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported this is the biggest jump in seven months. The job market moves like the stock market, in a manner that if the current momentum is positive, others will do the same. Therefore, companies are likely to start hiring. Now is the best time to increase your job search activities. Follow-up on previous interviews where you were put on hold. Companies may be adding jobs with a January start date. The holiday season is starting and many job seekers will reduced their search activities. You should increase all of your job search initiatives and there will also be less competition. Now is the time to get a job offer even if it’s to start work in January. What a great way to start the new year! Good luck on you search.
