The October job growth rate added 337,000 net jobs. The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported this is the biggest jump in seven months. The job market moves like the stock market, in a manner that if the current momentum is positive, others will do the same. Therefore, companies are likely to start hiring. Now is the best time to increase your job search activities. Follow-up on previous interviews where you were put on hold. Companies may be adding jobs with a January start date. The holiday season is starting and many job seekers will reduced their search activities. You should increase all of your job search initiatives and there will also be less competition.
